Role Description
This is a contract role for a Therapist primarily based on remote work. The Therapist will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling sessions, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and documenting client progress. Additional duties include collaborating with other health care professionals, attending training sessions, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of mental health practices and policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in individual, couples and group therapy
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
- Excellent documentation and note-taking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with other health care professionals
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Licensed or license-eligible in Virginia
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of mental health practices and policies
- Experience with telehealth platforms is a plus
