What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powder Line Operator position at Lifeplus International?
JOB SUMMARY:
Follow established procedures, methods, and/or guidelines to produce quality products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
o Perform all work in a safe manner
o Follow the training, instruction, and procedures provided by the Area Manager or Supervisor
o Pay attention to the work being performed
o Comply with all established procedures (GMP and SOP requirements).
o Meet established standards for quantity or volume of work required
o If using any type of equipment or machine, operate the machine as instructed and never change methods, tamper with controls, change settings, or do anything else that will affect the established process
o Be considerate of co-workers and visitors
o Keep the immediate work area clean and neat.
o Practice good personal hygiene, avoid objectionable personal habits, wear uniforms, lab coats, hairnets and/or beard guards as designated, and use Personal Protective Equipment if required for the job
o Handle products, components and/or materials carefully and in a manner that does not cause contamination or damage.
o Ensure that any documentation is properly filled out in a timely manner and sent to the proper destination
SPECIFIC JOB ASSIGNMENTS
o Set up bottling line equipment per applicable SOPs and as directed by supervision
o Perform required quality checks prior to, during and at the end of the production run for each batch
o Restock bottling line equipment with packaging components, such as bottles, caps, labels, etc., as needed
o Package finished goods per SOPs for each container size
o Complete all required paperwork and log books for each production run
o Clean all bottling line equipment and work area per applicable SOPs and as directed by supervision
o Perform required Preventive Maintenance and other work orders as directed by Management
o Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
On the job training, job specific.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma preferred.

- Continually required to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds/ up to 25 pounds/ up to 50 pounds/ more than 50 pounds
- Continually work near moving mechanical parts
- Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used – Pallet jacks (motorized or manual)
