What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Associate position at Lifeplus International?
JOB SUMMARY:
The QA Associate personnel have the primary responsibility for performing line clearances and quality checks for manufacturing. They are also cross trained in raw material sampling, in-process sampling, finished goods sampling, container sampling and tablet testing.
SPECIFIC JOB ASSIGNMENTS
o Conduct line clearance checks in all production areas to allow processes to commence, then provide in-process and final checks for each process step
o Collect samples of in-process material and finished goods in accordance with batch records and applicable SOPs
o Scale calibration
o Sample raw material and packaging materials receipts in accordance with applicable SOPs
o Perform laboratory testing under the supervision of a Quality Control Technician
o Perform required Preventive Maintenance and other work orders as directed by Management
o Perform other duties as assigned
