Acute Care Physical Therapist
$30,000 Sign-on Bonus with two (2) year commitment to that role. Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.
Status/FTE: Full Time / 0.8-1.0 FTE
Shift length: 8 hours
Start Time: 0800
Unit: Inpatient Therapies
Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Primary job is working Monday-Friday. Will be a part of the weekend on call and holiday rotation. Will be on call for a weekend approximately once every 2-3 months and on call for a holiday once every 3 years.
Responsible for any duties related to the physical therapy care of patients being treated in the therapy department. This includes evaluation, program planning, consultation, and treatment of patients. It also includes the necessary documentation, communication and attendance at meetings as well as any other task within the department as assigned by persons responsible.
Minimum Required:
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Licensed as a physical therapist in the State of Montana.
- Good organizational skills.
- Comfortable with public speaking.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must obtain BLS for Healthcare Provider within 3 months of hire.
Preferred/Desired:
- Prefer one year of experience working as an acute care PT.
