Position Summary
Learning and expanding knowledge with the guidance of an Information Technology Specialist to:
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, and software
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Following established procedures and processes for computer maintenance
- Researching and recommending solutions for technical problems
- Helping install and update software on company computers and devices
- Helping ensure that company data is backed up and can be recovered in the event of a disaster
- Possess a strong desire to assist with technical issues
Minimum Qualifications
- Between ages 18-25
- Ability to meet minimum hospital hiring standards
Essential Job Functional
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft products preferred
- Knowledge of PC hardware and software preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with experience resolving computer, printer and phone issues preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrate sound judgment, patience and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment
