Senior Analyst / Specialist Order and Backorder Management

What you’ll do :
The Senior Specialist, Order and Backorder Management, coordinates with specific supplier / distributor relationships to manage high-volume, special and bill-only orders in medical supplies, equipment and / or pharmacy.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinates with specific supplier / distributor relationships to manage high-volume, special and bill-only orders in medical supplies, equipment and / or pharmacy.
- Maintains daily monitoring of inventory levels and backorders.
- Proactively manages suppliers and sites on substitute product options and or movement of inventory between locations for purposes in urgent patient care.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Information :
- Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors.
- Access to and / or works with sensitive and / or confidential information.
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).Skilled in the application of policies and procedures.
Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
Qualifications
What you’ll need :
Education : Bachelors Degree required, preferably in the areas of Supply Chain Operations or related years of experience
Experience :
- Minimum 2-3 years with experience in Supply Chain Operations in a hospital / healthcare environment.
- Experience with procurement and order management in healthcare is highly recommended.
