We are currently searching for a Training and Quality Assurance Specialist, Remote Care Team!
The Training and Quality Assurance Specialist, Remote Care Team (TQS) will be an integral part of MGRI’s goal to provide training and support to new team members as well as existing team members. In depth knowledge of the athena system, the remote care team workflow and process development are core to the functions of this position.
A primary function of this role is to lead new employees through MGRI’s’ training and onboarding program. This position is responsible for creating new training curriculum based on current staff needs, leading regularly scheduled company trainings as well as individual staff training, and ensuring that all information is updated in our centralized knowledge repository, SharePoint. This role will assist the Remote Care Team Manager in the management of timecard approvals, productivity studies, quality reviews, and new implementations. Additional responsibilities of this role include assisting the Remote Care Team on special projects or when capacity deficiencies exist and execute a quick turnaround of performance as needed.
Good communication and teamwork with all leaders and team members are essential for this role to be successful. The ideal candidate needs to be outgoing, versatile, have a solid understanding of the Remote Care Team workflow, and accepting of changes in job assignments and focus on a regular basis. This position reports to the Director, People Services and will take direction from the AVP, Ambulatory Quality and Remote Care Team Management as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Responsible for leading new hire onboarding training sessions using the 90-Day onboarding document
- Instruct and model the MGRI Culture, Mission, Vision and Values for future success of the company
- Complete overview of all MGRI systems, providing instruction on locating and accessing required sites
- Responsible for researching and creating continuing educational trainings for all Remote Care Team staff, based on current needs
- Create and implement regularly scheduled Test Out evaluations with trainees, ensuring the current curriculum is relevant and accurate
- Provide individualized training sessions as needed with employees
- Create education and training content to be disseminated to the group and loaded onto SharePoint to enhance our training library
- Assist the Remote Care Team Manager in the timecard approval process.
- Review chart prep quality and team productivity and appropriately escalate issues to Remote Care Team Manager and/or AVP, Ambulatory Quality.
- Monitor and analyze Athena release notes and recommend process improvements to Remote Care Team Leadership.
- Communicate regularly with your manager to alert them of trends identified and recommended resolution
- Regularly solicit feedback from trainees and leaders to ensure training program needs are being met
- Keep on task to meet all required deadlines and timeframes for team needs
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Minimum of one-year experience working in athena
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant in the practice setting
- Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Experience serving in a training role
- Computer Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, athena
- Excellent presentation, communication skills and ability to work well with different personality types.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong technical and computer skills (athenaNet Software, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Web).
- Ability to disseminate Release Notes and provide updates as appropriate.
- Ability to identify and resolve trends within your workflow.
- Ability to create quality process documentation

Pay Range: starting at $24/hour The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
