And much more…Position Summary : Provides direct patient care based on individual need according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and within the scope of the practice of the Certified Nursing Assistant, after initial orientation and completion of skills checklist.Minimum Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent.
Completion of Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant I or Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (Acute Care) Program.
Current Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant II Certification.
Obtain BLS certification within three months and maintain as current.
Experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
Meets recertification and continuing education requirements according to level of certification and maintains certification without lapse.Essential Job Functional :
Provides direct personal care under supervision of a Registered Nurse within the scope of practice of the Certified Nursing Assistant I or Certified Nursing Assistant 2.
Participates as a contributory member of the interdisciplinary team.
Completes all documentation within departmental requirements and timelines.
Participates in the responsible management of all departmental / hospital resources.
Assumes responsibility for meeting annual in-service requirements and ongoing personal development.'Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Ability to use good judgment, demonstrate patience, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
