Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Wilson, North Carolina. As a travel nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care to individuals experiencing acute medical emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the emergency setting, prioritizing their needs and ensuring timely interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and address complex medical situations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and evidence-based guidelines to enhance patient care.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in an emergency department setting
- Valid certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and patient-centered care
Work Schedule:
This position requires a commitment to working 36 hours per week, with shifts lasting 12 hours. Weekend hours will be every other weekend, and call requirements are not applicable.
