Job Summary

Lifescape Colorado is looking to add a qualified Site Inventory Specialist to our Landscape Design team! The Site Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of all plants, materials, tools, and equipment on-site. This role ensures that all inventory is accounted for, properly stored, and readily available for use by the construction team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to inventory management.

This person will be working approximately 10-15 hours per week, with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient inventory storage system.
  • Prepare and present inventory reports to designers and landscape architects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Inventory existing site conditions, elevations, and measurements, and capture and transfer that information from the field to be imported to CAD.
  • Take photos of existing conditions.
  • Create a base plan in CAD.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in landscaping or horticulture a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in CAD.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understand elevations and proficient with a Zip Level to capture elevation points.
  • Ability to locate plants geographically/accurately and measure their diameters.
  • Basic photo-taking skills.
  • Basic CAD skills to create base plans using a given template.
  • Communication skills to relay pertinent information verbally to the designer.
  • Grade point interpolation and plant identification skills are a plus but not a condition of employment.
