We are looking for a full-time Billing & Reimbursement Specialist for our Adult division that will monitor, coordinate, and perform various billing functions and follows up on collections of accounts receivable for adult services. They will also provide comprehensive support to the overall and daily operations to ensure timely billing and collections for services performed.
Some of the responsibilities associated with this opportunity include, but are not limited to:
Specializes in billing and reimbursement
- Bills and follows up on collections and works collaboratively with co-workers performing similar functions for the following adult services:
- Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)
- Conflict Free Case Management (CFCM)
- Family Support (FS360)
- Works with the State to resolve billing and collection issues and build positive relationships.
- Works collaboratively with staff from other LifeScape departments.
- Recommends methods for continuous improvement with billing and collections.
- Performs special projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experience
Two-year degree in Business or Finance and two years of billing and collections experience, or more comprehensive billing and collections experience required. Experience with Microsoft Excel required.
