Job Summary:
Lifescape Colorado is looking for passionate, skilled-individuals to join our team as an Landscape Enhancement Operations Manager. The Landscape Enhancement Operations Manager is responsible for leading a construction team and overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of landscape enhancements and small projects. This role involves managing and training a team of landscape professionals, ensuring client satisfaction and that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Management & Scheduling: Plan, manage schedule, and oversee landscape enhancement projects from inception to completion.
- Team Leadership: Manage, train and mentor a team of landscape professional foreman and crew members. Oversee 6-7 crews and Enhancement Coordinator.
- Client Relations: Meet and communicate with clients as needed, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company standards and client specifications.
- Budget Management: Manage project budgets, direct and in-direct costs, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to safety guidelines.
- Purchasing & Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement and maintenance of equipment and landscape materials, establish and maintain good vendor relationships.
- Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with sales team and garden managers to ensure a smooth workflow of project construction for team and clients.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in landscape management or a similar role. Has excellent experience in landscape construction/horticulture.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) or similar are a plus
