What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Specialist position at LifeScience Logistics?
- Maintain efficient and accurate inventory management procedures, consistent with company policy and procedures.
- Safeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detection.
- Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments.
- Make system adjustments as required and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions.
- Follow client’s disposition of damaged and/or expired product, including shipment and destruction.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to Customer Service and initiated cycle count request.
- Support product recall return process through physical identification and segregation of product.
- Responsible for running reports, reconciliation of final count variances, and all other reconciliation activities.
- Process accurate perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement, when necessary.
- Maintain product identification and location programs.
- Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Other duties as assigned.
