Senior Data Analyst Job Description
We are seeking a driven, talented individual to fill the position of Senior Data Analyst to work in our Technology team. This role is responsible for providing insights that inform marketing and sales strategies across our Amazon, Direct to Consumer and Retail sales channels and across our other business units such as Finance, Operations, and Customer Service. In this position, you will have a unique opportunity at LifeSeasons to deliver actionable insights, maintain data pipelines, and identify new opportunities that drive business success. Your work will play a critical role in informing decisions and supporting teams across LifeSeasons with actionable insights.
Requirements and Key Skills:
- 5 years of analytics experience with a proven track record in Amazon, DTC, and other sales channels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate data into strategic insights.
- Self-driven, with the ability to take ownership of company-wide analytics.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Proactive mindset to identify opportunities, prioritize tasks, and deliver impactful results.
- Experience collaborating with developers to build and manage data systems.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL (any variant) and Tableau.
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms such as Google Analytics, Meta Advertising, Impact.com, Levanta, etc.
- Bonus: Knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
- Nice to have: Experience presenting insights to executives and influencing high-level decision-making.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Analytics and Insights:
- Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce innovative tools and methods to optimize analytics.
- Analyze performance data from Amazon, DTC, and Retail to uncover trends and opportunities, including repeat-purchase behavior, LTV analytics, cohort analysis, and media attribution.
- Automate reports and provide actionable insights to support business strategy and growth.
Collaborate Across Teams:
- Partner with marketing, sales, operations, finance, and product development teams to understand their needs and deliver value-added insights.
- Work effectively with channel owners to clarify requests and ensure insights address key business questions.
Build and Maintain Data Excellence:
- Collaborate with back-end developers to design and maintain reliable data pipelines.
- Help establish robust data governance standards for accuracy, security, and consistency.
Compensation/Benefits:
