LifeShare Network is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team as an Organ Recovery Coordinator. In this critical role, you will be pivotal in coordinating activities related to the recovery and utilization of organs for transplantation, turning tragic losses into renewed hope and life.
What You Will Do:
- Immediate Response and Coordination: Be the first point of contact, responding to initial donor referrals, evaluating potential donors, and managing the organ recovery process.
- Family Engagement and Education: Provide essential support and information to donor families, helping them understand the process and making informed decisions during critical times.
- Clinical Expertise in Donor Management: Apply your nursing skills to maintain donor stability, maximize organ viability, and ensure successful transplantation outcomes.
- Leadership in Training and Procedures: Lead and participate in educational initiatives through LifeShare Academy and take charge during advanced medical procedures that enhance organ recovery rates.
Qualifications
Who We Are Looking For:
- Qualified RNs: You must hold a current RN license and have experience of at least 2 years in ICU, ER, or other critical care settings. Additional certifications like CCRN,CEN, ACLS a plus
- Strong Communicators and Compassionate Leaders: Your ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with families and medical teams is crucial. Leadership skills are a must.
- Adaptive and Resilient: The ideal candidate is comfortable in a high-stress, fast-paced environment and can adapt to varying situations with professionalism.

Shift and Location Flexibility:
