Position: Acupuncturist (Independent Contractor)
Position Description: Responsible for providing acupuncture services to clients at The Healing Heart Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide acupuncture services to clients as scheduled by the HHC staff
- Assist clients in understanding the services offered at The Healing Heart Center
- Consult the client about their medical history and the reason for their visit
- Give advice on lifestyle habits such as sleep, exercise and diet to improve client’s physical health
- Create a plan of care that focuses on the client’s overall health and wellbeing
- Clean and organize treatment rooms between clients; includes sterilizing equipment and replenishing supplies
- Comply with HIPAA privacy requirements and processes
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Licensed by the state of Iowa in Acupuncture
