Salary: $45,000 annually
Brief Job Description:
The Outpatient Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) Therapist position is an opportunity for an individual seeking to work with a team of dedicated staff who recognize the importance of serving individuals with substance use disorders, mental health disorders or dual diagnosis. A unique opportunity to provide outreach services in our community as well as treatment services are included in this position. Our team is committed to providing quality services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group and family counseling services to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders or both.
- Triage emergency clients and facilitate referrals to begin services.
- Provide education and outreach to the community regarding Opioid Use Disorder initiatives and services available.
- Maintain timely documentation of all services.

Work Hours
- Schedule primarily day shift but flexible hours may be required.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, or another mental health related field and eligibility for Kentucky licensure is required; will consider candidates that are enrolled in a Master’s program in the field.
- Previous experience working with individuals with substance use disorders is preferred.
