LifeSource is hiring an Organ Services Administrator to be accountable for engaging in the evaluation and coordination for donation opportunities, supporting the goal of maximizing donation conversion.
The Organ Services Administrator is accountable for the oversight of the donation process internally by leading the assessment, planning, evaluation, and management of the entire donation process. They are responsible for logistics planning and transportation coordination for team members traveling for clinical activity. This includes identifying and meeting internal and external customer requirements, including donor hospital and transplant center team members, funeral directors, medical examiners, eye banks and tissue processors.
This is a great fit for critical care or ED RNs with excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and logistical skills to anticipate and recognize administrative and logistical challenges in the donation process and proactively provide resources for all donation and transplantation processes.
As an Organ Services Administrator, you'll advance our life-saving work by performing the following job duties :
- Providing real-time clinical and administrative expertise and oversight aimed at maximizing donation during the referral and recovery processes for both organ and tissue cases.
- Managing clinical resources to support the donation process internally by participating in the assessment, planning, evaluation, and management of the entire donation process.
- Identifying and meeting internal and external process improvement, training, and subject matter expert requirements.
- Serving as subject matter expert internally and with external partners on post-donation patient safety.
