The BCaBA/QASP-S is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and supervision of individualized behavior intervention plans for clients with developmental and behavioral challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). They work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent, providing direct services, training, and oversight to behavior technicians and caregivers to ensure the effective delivery of evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Individualized Program Development: Craft and implement tailored skill acquisition and behavior modification programs, ensuring alignment with client needs and goals.
- Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments and functional analyses, utilizing tools like VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and others, to inform data-driven treatment strategies.
- Direct Client Interaction & Training: Provide engaging 1:1 therapy sessions and deliver effective training to Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs), fostering a positive learning environment.
- Empowering Caregiver Support: Conduct regular parent/caregiver training to promote consistent implementation of ABA techniques in home and community settings.
- Supervisory Excellence: Provide ongoing supervision to BTs/RBTs, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices.
- Detailed Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate client records and prepare timely reports, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Participate in regular case consultations and communicate effectively with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team.
- Continuous Professional Growth: Maintain required certifications and licensure, and actively engage in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Active BCaBA certification.
- Active QASP-S certification.
- Active North Carolina Assistant Behavior Analyst licensure.
- Current BLS CPR/First Aid certification.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and assessment tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A passion for working with children and families with ASD.
