Marketing and Social Media Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our social media presence across various platforms, developing engaging content, and driving brand awareness. This role requires a strong understanding of social media management, e-commerce strategies, and the ability to analyze social listening data to enhance our online engagement.

Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
• Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across all social media platforms.
• Utilize tools such as Hootsuite for scheduling posts and monitoring social media interactions.
• Conduct social listening to gather insights on audience preferences and trends.
• Collaborate with the graphic design team to create visually appealing content that aligns with brand guidelines.
• Edit videos for promotional campaigns and social media posts.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner, fostering positive relationships.
• Monitor analytics to assess the performance of social media campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and consistency in messaging.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media management, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
• Strong understanding of web analytics tools and metrics related to social media performance.
• Proficiency in using Hootsuite or similar social media management platforms.
• Experience with graphic design software is a plus; familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• Strong video editing skills are desirable for creating engaging multimedia content.
• Exceptional proofreading abilities with keen attention to detail.
• A passion for staying updated on the latest trends in social media and digital marketing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31,200.00 - $35,000.00 per year
