LIFESPAN is hiring a compassionate, hardworking, friendly, and reliable Program Director to oversee, monitor and supervise the daily operations of a year round center and its staff as they support children with developmental delays and typically developing children from six weeks of age until they start kindergarten in a blended, inclusive environment

What youll do:
- As directed/determined by Program Management, schedule and attend Service Plan/Plan of Care meetings, Planning meetings, MCO provider meetings (only in extreme cases when Program Management is unavailable), and other meetings as scheduled.
- Coordinate objectives and meet deadlines for the implementation of Service Plans/Plans of Care.
- Consult with QP or Program Management regarding performance issues; communicate potential issues involving individuals or staff and case management needs to QP or Program Management.
- Communicate issues or concerns regarding individuals with appropriate team members;
- Communicate with clinical consultants, case managers and families as needed.
- Monitor compliance with program and production expectations.
- Implement and monitor all state regulations.
- Enforce policies, procedures and general guidelines of LIFESPAN.
- Ensure that community inclusion and choices are integral parts of the program.
- Ensure staff adheres to LIFESPAN Philosophy of Positive Communication, Positive Relationships and Positive Supports.
- Ensure programming includes daily living skills training.
- Utilize and maximize community resources by attending networking functions and appropriate
- functions as assigned by Program Management.
- Serve as an advocate for the individuals we serve.

In addition, you may be required to:
- Administer medications. Training is provided.
What you need:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field preferred or BA/BS degree in EC/CD orBA/BS degree in any major with 18 sch in EC/CD or Standard* Principal License or Exceptional Children Program Administration Certificate or BA/BS degree in EE/HG&D or BA/BS degree in any major with 18 sch in EE/HG&Dany equivalent combination of education or experience. Minimum of one year previous supervisory experience preferred. Qualified Professional status preferred.

- Commitment to achieve competency in required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Note: Current First Aid/CPR blended or classroom certification is required. If you do not currently have certification from an approved provider, our American Red Cross certified instructors will provide you the training.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently (per policy)
