Lifesteps is hiring a Full -Time Child Care Staff / Teacher Aide in the Saxonburg, PA area.

Lifesteps is immediately hiring full-time Assistant Group Supervisors (also known as Child Care Assistants or Teacher Aides) to work Monday through Friday, daylight hours, in the daycare and preschool center.
Job duties include:
- the care and supervision of children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years old
- assisting with lesson planning and creating fun activities
- supervising indoor and outdoor play time
- inform parents about the child's day

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED and two years of experience working with children - can be paid or unpaid work such as Summer Camps, Church Nursery, Babysitting, Bible School, Volunteering with children, etc.
- Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds without assistance
- Ability to provide acceptable state clearances
- Able to multi-task and work in a team environment.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services field
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services field
