Lifesteps is hiring two, part-time Early Intervention Screeners for the Butler, PA area to assess and evaluate children and infants as they grow and develop.

Position Summary:
The Childrens Developmental Screener is responsible for scheduling, administering, scoring and interpreting developmental screenings for children ages birth to 5 years old.
This position is also responsible for sharing the results of the screening to the parents in a professional, non-threatening manner and providing parents with information on developmentally appropriate activities and child development.
The Part-time position is based at the office in Butler, PA and work during the work week only. Wednesday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. No Weekends, No Evenings. No Holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Family Studies, Psychology or a related Human Service field OR
- - High School Diploma with a CDA Certificate
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Current driver’s license and the ability to travel for business with personal vehicle
Preferred:
- Experience with Children, such as: Child Development Assessment experience, Teacher Aide, Childcare staff, Assistant Teacher, Daycare employee, AGS, etc
