We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Day Program Instructor / Program Specialist for the Special Needs Adult Training Facility in Beaver, PA.

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring the health, safety and well-being of persons with intellectual disabilities by assisting in the development and implementation of appropriate goal plans. This position helps with creating client goals, assist with carrying out program activities, observing and reporting performance of clients in a variety of situations, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
This full-time position works a Monday through Friday schedule of 8 am to 4 pm with weekends off!
No Evenings, No Weekends, No Holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Associate’s degree OR 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years’ experience working directly with persons with disabilities
- OR a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of experience working directly with persons with disabilities
- OR a Master's degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year of experience working directly with persons with disabilities
- Possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must be able to lift 200 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain clearances
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Preferred:
- Master's degree and 1 year of experience working directly with persons with disabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Human Services, Social Services, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, Art or Dance Therapy Psychology, or any similar degree and 2 years of working directly with persons with disabilities
- Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators Certificate (ACRE)
- Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
