Lifesteps is hiring a Part-Time Developmental Screener for the Butler, PA area to assess Children and Infants .

Position Summary :
The Children's Developmental Screener conducts community based, comprehensive screenings of physical, intellectual, and social emotional development for children birth to age five (5).
The Developmental Screener helps parents understand their child’s screening score, recommends community resources in support of healthy child development, and helps parents understand options and early interventions in the event a delay is identified.
Paid Training offered. No experience required.
This position works Monday through Wednesday 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm and Thursday 8 : 00 am - 12 : 00 pm.
No Evenings, No weekends. No Holidays!
QUALIFICATIONS : Required :
Required :
- High School Diploma and a CDA Certificate (Child Development Associate credential )
- OR Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Family Studies, Psychology, Speech Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related Human Services major
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Current driver’s license and the ability to travel for business with personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement)
Preferred :
Child Development Assessment experience
is helpful, but not required.
