LifeStream is a behavioral health and social services organization that provides high-quality treatment, education, care management, rehabilitation, child welfare, primary care and homeless services to children, adolescents, and adults. Located in Central Florida, LifeStream primarily serves the residents of Lake, Citrus and Sumter Counties, with additional programs located in Orange, Marion, Hernando counties.

JOB SUMMARY: The Information System (IS) Network Specialist II is a progressively responsible position providing end-user support for hardware and software issues related to personal computers, including but not limited to laptops, phones, mobile devices and ensure reliable connectivity to the network. Assist Director of Management of Information Systems with network troubleshooting and maintaining data integrity.

- Performs all duties of Information System IS Network Specialist I, plus the following.
- Working knowledge of computer, good communication skills, use of all office equipment
- Clean driving record and driver’s license per agency driving requirements
- Responsible for end-user application software setup/support including PC interface setup
- Develop, update and maintain training manuals and develop and conduct training classes
- Log and track software licensing for all LifeStream Behavioral Center software
- Log and track computer hardware
- Provide second level helpdesk support for the above listed software
- Research and make recommendations for future implementation of various computer and networking related components
- Position also shall assist in computer operations and PC installations and setup as required
- Follow all MIS procedures to ensure a professional and timely response to support requests
- Maintain and coordinate computer software and hardware update requests ensuring the proper guidelines for update are followed and documented for warranty and billing requirements
- Research and make recommendations of software, hardware and installation problems
- Monitor software licensing to comply with copyright and licensing agreements laws
- Maintain full inventory of software owned by LifeStream Behavioral Center, used by all departments to ensure non-duplication of future purchases and to ensure that all software used is properly licensed
- Maintain a common library for documentation of software
- The ability to comply with the regulations requiring a workplace of dignity and respect and equal employment opportunity compliance.
- The ability to work collaboratively with others and to accept constructive criticism from supervisors and managers.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education:
- Minimum of a two (2) year college degree with course work in computer software, hardware, and programming required
- Experience:
- Two (2) years experience in similar position may be substituted for up to one (1) years of education
- Experience as a technical writer and/or trainer is highly desirable

Driving Requirements:
- Must own a car and have a safe driving record
- Minimum of 5-years driving experience required
- Possess a Valid FL Driver’s license (within 30 days of hire if currently do not possess)
- Possess a continuously valid US Driver’s license for the past three years, from date of issue required
