LifeStream is a behavioral health and social services organization that provides high-quality treatment, education, care management, rehabilitation, child welfare, primary care and homeless services to children, adolescents, and adults. Located in Central Florida, LifeStream primarily serves the residents of Lake, Citrus and Sumter Counties, with additional programs located in Orange, Marion, Hernando counties.
JOB SUMMARY: The Outpatient Billing Specialist bills all insurances for outpatient charges, reviews EOB's for denials, and updates information in system as needed.

- Responsible for billing outpatient charges to Medicaid, Medicare and Private Insurance.
- Responsible for auditing accounts after payments and doing write off sheets and adjustments.
- Assists clients calling about their bills and balances accounts.
- Performs duties in other areas of the department as needed; any other duties as assigned by Leadership

- Minimum of One-year experience in an office setting required
- Minimum of One-year of computer experience required
