CMasters Level Licensed Therapist- CCOS

Located in Central Florida, LifeStream primarily serves the residents of Lake, Citrus and Sumter Counties, with additional programs located in Orange, Marion, Hernando counties.

Licensed Children's Therapist- Master's Level:

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated MA/ MS Licensed Therapist to join our team. The MA/MS Licensed Therapist will develop comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments clinically responsive to age-appropriate patient/family needs and concerns commensurate with knowledge in the substance abuse/mental health field.

Children’s Clinical On-Site Services (CCOS)- The children and adolescents of CCOS meet state criteria for services and display significant disruption in age-appropriate functioning. They are often disruptive in the classroom, demonstrate oppositional and non-compliant behavior with authority figures, and display physical aggression with peers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Complete psychosocial assessment on each consumer within designated time of admission. 
• Collaborate with other professionals to evaluate consumers’ medical or physical condition and to assess needs. 
• Provide documentation of clinical and case management services in accordance with department standards. 
• Participate with the interdisciplinary team in developing and implementing clinical treatment plans for consumers.  Serve as consumer advocate for needs within the community. 
• Maintain current all staff development requirements for this position. 
• The ability to comply with the regulations requiring a workplace of dignity and respect and equal employment opportunity compliance. 
• The ability to work collaboratively with others and to accept constructive criticism from supervisors and managers. 
• Willingness to abide by the company’s published rules and regulations. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  

Education: 

• Master's degree in clinical or counseling psychology, Counselor Education, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other relevant Human Service Field required.
• Licensure required as Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist valid in FL.    

Experience: 

• Minimum of Two (2) years of direct clinical experience preferable in a health or mental health setting with an emphasis on population to be served in the assigned area.  

Driving Requirements: 

• Must be Over the age of 21 required.
• Minimum of 5 years driving experience required.
• Possess a Valid FL Driver’s license (within 30 days of hire if currently do not possess)
• Possess a continuously valid US Driver’s license for the past three years, from date of issue required.
• Safe Driving record required.
• Must be able to pass a Level II Background Screening
• Must be able to pass a preemployment drug test.
