We are looking for a Custom Home Sales Person to join our sales team. The Ideal candidate should be outgoing and comfortable engaging with sophisticated clients. Responsibilities
- Sell homes and make happy homeowners!!
- Find and work with clients to develop their dreams and expectations
- Effectively discuss and explain the homebuilding and home buying process to customers in such a way that the customer feels knowledgeable and comfortable with the experience
- Understands, explains and processes sales documentation for prospective clients, including filling in information required to complete the company’s forms for purchase and sale contracts.
- Performs all necessary follow-up to ensure successful closing of sales. Works collaboratively with other departments, teams and individuals, both inside and outside the company, to ensure that the entire process is seamless from meeting clients to close of sale and delivery of homes
- Assist clients and decorators in completing the Selections process quickly after contract
- Utilizes sales and marketing resources to achieve/exceed the sales and closing goals
- Understands the power of our company’s brand and the unique customer value proposition we offer
- Effectively communicates the key differentiator touch points as to why the customer would purchase a home from Lifestyle By Stadler versus other builders
- Manages backlog, maintaining strong lines of communication with customers after contract decision
- Resolves issues or problems that arise with the customers and construction to keep the building process moving forward
- Develops knowledge of competitor offerings, policies, programs, pricing and products, as well as consumer demographics, in an effort to better define key differentiators for his/her assigned communities and provides helpful information to management
- Proactively communicates and responds in a professional and timely manner to all external and internal stakeholders (managers, real estate brokers, homebuyers, etc.)
- Must be able to work a minimum of two weekends a month
Qualifications
- Must have enthusiasm for Custom Home Sales
- Need to be highly organized
- Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable with Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
- Experience with working with architects and ability to read blue prints
- A track record of 5 years of strong sales skills with a minimum of 2 years in custom new home sales
- Experience with homesite evaluations and ability to walk homesite with topography
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Competitive spirit and willingness to show initiative
- Detail oriented and self-starter
- Master of follow up with clients, architects and interior designers
- Customer Service Driven
- Team Oriented
- Creative in “self-generated” lead creation
- Comfortable working with a commission based income
- Must have an active driver’s license
