Job Description : Audio-Video Technician
Works with other installers and independently, in the completion of Low Voltage Audio / Video & Alarm Systems installs and service calls. Responsible for timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork they are assigned. Tech is also responsible for assigned vehicle care and maintenance.

Key Job Responsibilities :
Complete one-room & multi-room audio / video installs and setupSecurity / Alarm systems setup, install, & programmingAdvanced troubleshooting of AV, Lighting systemsNetworking / data system installation and setupProgramming of single-room, advanced systemsUnderstanding of multi-room systems and setupUnderstanding of security system wiring, programming and designUnderstanding of Control4 & Crestron AV systemsCompletion of Alarm.com Academy (or obtain within 6 months of hire)Completion of ProSource University within the first year of employmentMinimum Job Requirements :
Strong verbal and written communication skillsHighly detailed, organized, and multitask drivenAbility to work on rotating “on-call” service scheduleProficient in all Lead Tech / Assistant level qualificationsCompetent skills with desktop and mobile computingClean driving record and background check (required)Minimum of 1-year field experienceInstallation and setup of various residential and commercial low voltage / automation electronic systems including audio / video, lighting, shades, climate control, security, CCTV, and computer networks.
Building audio-visual racks, speaker installation, mounting TVs.Rough-in Audio Visual, Data, Security Cameras or other related systems cablingProvide programming and operational and training instruction session for end users.Complete accurate service reports, change orders, and work orders.Maintain a clean work area and vehicle on a daily basis.Must have working knowledge and experience with various high-end control systems including, but not limited to : Lutron, Crestron, and Control4.Calibrate and troubleshoot audio, visual, network, lighting control, and automation equipment.Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and supplies, and organize vans / warehouse as needed.Job Requirements
