SUMMARY :

The Product Manager will support the Cardiac and Neuro product portfolio by assisting with both tactical and strategic initiatives to achieve revenue goals. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management while contributing to key projects. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, market research, and product lifecycle activities. A technical aptitude is beneficial for understanding product specifications and assisting with documentation. The Product Manager will report to the Director of Marketing and work closely with departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Clinical teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Product Support and Management :

  • Assist in managing product lifecycle activities, including availability and technical updates, market monitoring, and support for Cardiac and Neuro product lines.
  • Help maintain product portfolio roadmaps and dashboards to track product statuses and milestones.
  • Support the preparation and organization of product documentation in adherence to Quality System procedures.
  • Support initiatives related to product recalls, quality investigations, and complaint resolutions.
  • Assist with post market surveillance activities, including customer interactions, product support, training, and gathering feedback for future product enhancements.
  • Conduct gap analyses in the product portfolio to identify opportunities for innovation or line extensions.
  • Support sales leads by optimizing Salesforce CRM functionality, ensuring accurate product forecasting data, and providing insights, tools, and training to drive effective sales strategies and decision-making.

Market Research and Insight :

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, collect Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback, and analyze the competitive landscape.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations on market findings to support decision-making processes.
  • Monitor emerging industry innovations and contribute ideas for product enhancements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration :

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Quality Assurance, to ensure the successful execution of product strategies.
  • Provide support to the Sales and Clinical teams, including creating sales tools and product training materials.
  • Assist in resolving product-related challenges to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Operational Support :

  • Participate in the coordination of product launches and customer events, including logistics and marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to product positioning, pricing strategies, and forecasting efforts under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Support the creation and delivery of educational content for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Additional Responsibilities :

  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of processes and policies to enhance efficiency.
  • Perform other tasks as needed to support the success of the team and organization.
  • REQUIREMENTS :

    Knowledge and Skills :

  • Basic understanding of ISO and FDA regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competencies :

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills with a strategic approach.
  • Ability to leverage analytics tools to track product performance metrics and customer usage trends.
  • Familiarity with BI (Business Intelligence) tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel PivotTables, to support data analysis.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : Not required

    EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field like biomedical engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in product management, marketing, or a related field (medical device or healthcare industry experience is a plus).
  • PHYSICAL DEMAND : The position is primarily sedentary and requires comfort sitting at a desk for extended periods.WORK ENVIRONMENT : This role operates in a standard office environment. TRAVEL REQUIREMENT : Limited travel may be required domestically and internationally for meetings, training, or product launches.
