SUMMARY:

We are looking for a dedicated Mid-Level SQL and SSRS Developer to join our team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining database solutions and reports that drive business insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL development, SSRS report creation, and data analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Database Development & Maintenance:

• • • Design and optimize SQL Server databases for performance, reliability, and scalability.
    • Create complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers for application and reporting needs.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and workflows to support clarity and operational efficiency.
    • Monitor and improve database performance, ensuring high availability and security.

2. SSRS Reporting:

• • • Develop, deploy, and maintain SSRS reports, including parameterized, drill- through, and interactive reports.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to gather report requirements and deliver actionable insights.
    • Troubleshoot, enhance, and modernize existing reporting systems.3. ETL and Data Integration:

5. Continuous Improvement and Collaboration:

• • • Work alongside cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
    • Stay updated on the latest SQL Server and reporting technologies, suggesting innovative solutions.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in SQL Server development and SSRS reporting. Hands-on experience with database design and T-SQL programming.

3. Technical Skills:

Proficient in SQL Server tools and technologies.

Advanced knowledge of SSRS, including creating interactive and parameterized reports.

Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.

Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

Knowledge of database security and best practices.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with cloud-based platforms (Azure SQL, AWS RDS).

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
