Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Intake Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments, offering mental health counseling, and identifying the needs and strengths of our patients. This position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours, with in-office responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and strengths of each patient.
- Provide mental health counseling to support patients in addressing emotional and psychological challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized intake and counseling plans.
- Collaborate with mental health professionals to ensure coordinated care and treatment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, counseling sessions, and progress.
- Offer support and guidance to patients and their families during the intake and counseling process.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience in conducting mental health assessments.
- Strong understanding of mental health principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
