Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Position Overview:
We are looking for dedicated, compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). In this role, you will help individuals with disabilities live fulfilling lives and achieve greater independence.
Responsibilities:
Care & Support
- Assist with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Provide emotional support and companionship, promoting independence.
- Foster a safe, inclusive environment where the dignity of each individual is respected.
Communication & Documentation
- Maintain communication with clients, families, and team members.
- Accurately document client progress, health records, and incidents.
- Report changes in behavior or health to supervisors.
Community Engagement
- Plan and participate in community activities, outings, and social events.
- Encourage vocational and recreational opportunities for skill-building and social integration.
Training & Development
- Attend mandatory training and seek professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Caregiving, healthcare, or related experience is a plus.
- Compassion, patience, and a desire to help others.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Basic computer skills for documentation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
