Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8am-4 : 30pm
Position Summary :
The Manager of Human Resources at Lifetime Assistance, Inc. will oversee key HR functions, focusing on employee relations, engagement, compliance, and the development and implementation of policies and procedures. This role is crucial to fostering a positive, inclusive work environment and aligning HR initiatives with Lifetime Assistance’s mission to support and empower individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
Employee Relations :
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees, addressing concerns, conflicts, and issues with empathy and fairness.
- Guide and coach managers in handling complex employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with Lifetime Assistance’s values.
- Conduct thorough, confidential investigations into workplace issues, including harassment, discrimination, and other sensitive matters.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and support a respectful, collaborative work environment.
Employee Engagement :
Develop and lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, including recognition programs and staff feedback initiatives.Conduct regular employee surveys and focus groups to gauge morale and identify areas for improvement, presenting actionable insights to leadership.Promote an inclusive culture by supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion programs aligned with the mission of Lifetime Assistance.Compliance :
Ensure that Lifetime Assistance is fully compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including ADA, EEO, FMLA, and other relevant regulations.Partner with internal departments to maintain accurate compliance documentation and records, preparing required reports as needed.Oversee the development of compliance-related training for staff to promote understanding and adherence to regulations and best practices.Policies and Procedures :
Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring they support Lifetime Assistance’s mission and adhere to legal requirements.Provide training and support for staff on HR policies, safety standards, and procedural changes.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, engagement, compliance, and policy management.Professional HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, handle sensitive issues with discretion, and build trust at all levels of the organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Skills and Competencies :
