- Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and financial regulations
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline workflows
- Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Provide strategic financial guidance to executive management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar senior financial role
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
- Experience with budgeting and financial analysis with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage a team and supervise day-to-day operations
