We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Management Specialist to oversee key financial operations, including bank reconciliations, account management, and fund transfers. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial reporting, cash flow management, and financial analysis, ensuring accurate and efficient financial processes while maintaining compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal financial policies.
Duties and Responsibilities of Financial Management Specialist:
Financial Management and Reporting
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports as required by management.
- Collect, process, and verify financial data from multiple sources and systems.
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
- Monitor and evaluate the organizations financial performance and risks.
- Conduct financial audits, reconciliations, and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Banking and Transaction Oversight
- Perform bank reconciliations to maintain and ensure accuracy in financial records and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage banking operations using AXOS, including account maintenance and transaction oversight.
- Facilitate fund transfers across internal bank accounts, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
- Oversee the budget uploads and Chart of Accounts maintenance, ensuring proper alignment with financial systems.
- Handle statement management, reviewing and reconciling financial statements for accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial management principles, and banking operations.
- Experience with AXOS or similar financial management platforms.
- Proficiency in bank reconciliations, fund transfers, and financial statement analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with all levels of the organization
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
