Lifetime Home Remodeling is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. - Financial Support: Assist Senior Accountants and provide backup support for accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) functions
- Commissions Tracking: Use sales documentation to calculate and track commissions for accurate payroll processing
- Reconciliations: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Billing Management: Manage billing processes and ensure accuracy
- Transaction Posting: Process A/P and A/R transactions, allocations, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze job cost reports
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (construction industry experience is a plus)
- Technical Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop (current), with a future transition to NetSuite; familiarity with Microsoft Office products and payroll entry processes
- Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrates a conscientious, detail-oriented approach to work
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal Skills: Professional demeanor with courtesy, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
