Roofing Material Orderer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Material Orderer in our Production & Construction Division. This role plays a critical part for our construction operations handling the ordering and coordination of various roofing materials, in addition to supporting ordering additional types of construction materials.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the ordering of materials for construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and availability.

• Collaborate closely with teams to understand material requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects.

• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste.

• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible procurement deals for materials.

• Coordinate the logistics of material deliveries and ensure accurate tracking of shipments to avoid delays.

• Maintain detailed records of material orders, deliveries, and inventory levels for project documentation.

• Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders and deliveries.

Requirements:

• Experience with ordering various types of roofing materials REQUIRED

• Experience with ordering materials such as windows, doors, siding, gutters, etc. is highly desired.

• Proven experience in materials ordering, preferably within the construction industry.

• Strong understanding of construction materials, their uses, and industry standards.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
