About the Role:
The Supply Chain Manager/ Senior Buyer will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our supplier, fleet and material inventory management, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability as we pursue growth. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies, managing key performance indicators, and leading a team of dedicated professionals to achieve our business objectives. Reporting directly to the COO, the Supply Chain Manager/ Senior Buyer will work closely with our leadership team to drive efficiency and innovation.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute operational strategies to improve customer experience and Company profitability.

Lead team responsible for supplier management, material inventory management

Supplier Management

Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms.

Own relationships with existing vendors, assess vendor risks and vendor sourcing.

Material Inventory Management

Collaborate with Scheduling team to ensure optimal inventory levels.

Address supply chain disruptions, evaluate quality of supplier materials, and resolve issues with suppliers proactively.

Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, minimize repairs and to reduce costs where possible.

Monitor production performance metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Track and report key procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.

Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and human resources, to align operational objectives with overall business goals.

Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing proactive solutions to address potential challenges.

Act as a point of contact for customers, resolving issues promptly and ensuring satisfaction.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or comparable work experience

5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or in an operations leadership role.

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies that drive growth and efficiency.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization as well as with customers.
