Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Estimator to join our team in the Radon/Commercial industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating construction projects such as Carpentry, HVAC/Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Roofing/Siding, Radon, etc. Ideally, experience in waterproofing membranes and caulking solutions is ideal. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to accurately and effeciently provide estimates to clients. As a Project Estimator, you will work with commercial and industrial clients to design and provide estimates that provide site specific solutions.
Responsibilities/Required skills
- Read blueprints/site plans to accurately estimate job costs.
- Provide estimates to clients accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with clients to provide site specific solutions.
- Obtain & maintain state and national licenses/certifications as needed (with company support)
- Conduct on-site assessments to determine the appropriate systems required.
- Design systems in accordance with all state and local codes.
- Maintain inventory and organization of material and company vehicle.
- Ability to work in commercial spaces/buildings/industrial spaces
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in radon mitigation preferred but not required.
- Min. 3 year of construction experience in Carpentry, HVAC/Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Roofing/Siding, Radon, etc. Ideally, candidate will have experience with waterproofing membranes and caulkings.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Possess OSHA 10/30 certification or has ability to obtain
