ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS JOB?
Enjoy a 4-day workweek with shifts from Monday to Thursday, 7 AM to 6 PM. That means long weekends every week-giving you more time to recharge, focus on personal projects, or spend time with family.
As an Auto Transmission Builder, you'll build and rebuild 6, 8, and 10-speed domestic automatic transmissions, as well as domestic imports like Toyota, Lexus, Honda, and Acura (European vehicles are not required). On very rare occasions you may be asked to handle Remove & Replace (R&R) tasks as needed and you'll troubleshoot issues, making sure every job meets our high-quality standards. You'll also use your knowledge of programming, calibrations, and shift strategies to optimize performance. Working closely with technicians, you'll help identify and diagnose issues before and after installations, ensuring the best results for our customers.
If you can do this and meet the following requirements, you might be a perfect fit!
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with auto transmissions
- Valid driver's license
- Your own tools
- Ability to work with tablets and digital software solutions
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset
- Highly organized with a desire for continuing education and growth
