What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Technician position at LifeTrans?
A VST is responsible for service operations by inspecting, maintaining and transporting vehicles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Details each vehicle at the station thoroughly consistently to ensure cleanliness: minimally twice a week and as needed.
- Vehicle detailing, along with decontamination procedures
- Stocks all vehicles with the appropriate supplies and assures each vehicle is fueled.
- Responsible for maintaining a systematic vehicle maintenance schedule and electronically filing all documentation.
- Check vehicles fluid levels, make sure lights are functional, and will report any damage or missing items/equipment.
- Completes station duties as assigned including taking out the waste bin, checking out inventory supplies, confirming supplies needed for field operations.
- Stock and organizes supplies.
- Transports vehicles to and from the repair shop as needed.
- Complete Van Technician(Driving) shifts as assigned.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Nevada Driver's License.
- Must provide a 3 year MVR.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Prior experience with automotive detailing preferred.
- Must have a current DOT Medical Exam.
- Ability to communicate and understand English verbally and written.
- Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen.
