What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Health Technician Supervisor position at LifeView Group?
Position Summary :
Behavior Health Technician Supervisor assists the counselors / therapeutic / nursing staff by providing clinical support to adults who are receiving substance abuse, mental health services or co-occurring disorders in residential programs, inpatient settings, day / evening programs, outpatient programs and / or community-based programs. This position serves as a role model, mentor, and / or assistant trainer to other Behavior Health Technicians.
Behavior Health Technician Supervisor is responsible for, but is not limited to :
- Providing direction and feedback to other Behavior Health Technicians during shift.
- Establishing a positive helping relationship with persons receiving services.
- Assisting persons receiving services to complete activities of daily living, including accessing needed resources, and building functional, pro-social relationships with others.
- Ensuring the safety of the person receiving services.
- Implementing specific interventions according to the person’s treatment or service plan.
- Monitoring and documenting the person’s progress.

Compensation :
Base pay ranges from $17.50 - $18.75 an hour based on experience with an additional supplemental pay (up to 8% of base pay) for the Crisis Stabilization Unit. Shift differential pay is $2.00 - $4.00 per hour when applicable.
