Overview
The Clinical Assessment Specialist’s primary duty is to provide initial screening assessments. The Clinical Assessment Specialist is a behavioral health professional responsible for facilitating admissions, clinical intake assessments, and prior authorization process to assure continuity for the most appropriate level of care for clients. Performs assessments, screens for clinical and medical appropriateness, and determines the appropriate level of care. Works closely with business office, nursing, and clinical staff as well as external parties to ensure the timely admission of clients. Therapeutic services include but are not limited to, assessment, treatment planning, direct service provision, person centered services, and management of client risk and safety.

The salary ranges from $49,056 - $52,890 per year based on experience.
