POSITION SUMMARY
A Senior Graphic Designer leads visual design projects, mentors junior designers, and ensures brand consistency, requiring strong design skills, leadership abilities, and experience in various design software and mediums.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
• Work with appropriate cross functional team members to become fully aligned in order to design projects.
• Continuous research and understanding to stay ahead of trends for the Creative and Wellness landscape.
• Thorough understanding of all content opportunities and ensuring we are utilizing appropriate art across all assets.
Execution
• Create on-brand digital, print and experiential creative across all brand marketing channels and initiatives ensuring we are meeting all weekly design deadlines.
• Provide design guidance and leadership across creative channels: email, social, web, packaging, retail, wholesale, billboards, postcards, mailers, event etc.
• Create world-class presentations for both internal and external audiences.
Time Management/Reporting
• Plan and organize your activities to meet all deadlines, enhance performance, maximize productivity, and increase efficiency.
• Set goals and timelines, be proactive with your tasks, and set clear exceptions for yourself.
• Report back regularly to the team key learnings, overall results, and opportunities for improvement for all priority projects.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to remain in an office at a computer workstation and access information from a computer. The employee is required to be mobile to, from, and within the office. The employee may occasionally move up to 25 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer.
• Previous experience in Design for Wellness and CPG brands preferred.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed.
• Takes direction and constructive critiques well while also having the ability to work autonomously and provide self-direction when needed.
• Must have a creative portfolio that features typography work and creative branding projects.
• Must have a design talent, including detailed sense of typography, photography, and design layout.
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Bridge, Midjourney and other AI generation platforms.
• Experience with making basic GIFs and video graphics. Familiarity with video editing is a plus.
• Resourceful, can-do attitude that thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow within our exciting company.
• High energy, a sense of humor and a positive attitude.
WORK ENVIORMENT AND EXPECTATIONS
• Draper Utah Office-based position with the potential for hybrid work within the Utah State only, subject to approval.
• Employees must maintain the same level of performance, engagement, and availability in hybrid settings as in-office roles.
