POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision, the Warehouse Team Lead Trainer is primarily responsible for carrying out the responsibility of ensuring all warehouse team members are successfully supported in completing all corporate assigned training assignments. This includes but is not limited to assigned training by HR, IT, Quality Assurance, along with supporting internal SOP’s and Work Instructions.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all warehouse staff completing assigned training assignments within designated specified completion date.
- Collaborates with Human Resources and others on developing content and tracking, documenting, and following up on training completion.
- Supports warehouse team in developing their knowledge and skills.
- Work with Supervisors to develop Work Instructions and SOP’s.
- Maintains accuracy with paperwork and documentation in reporting successful training completion.
- Responsible for the Receiving/Shipping of products according to company internal procedures while maintaining quality and teamwork in the process.
- Remains productive and fulfills a high volume of orders daily.
- Adhere to all current Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.
- Conducts inventory Cycle Counts, and research as needed for discrepancies.
- Maintains accuracy with paperwork and documentation pertaining to shipments such as: creating and printing shipping labels, commercial invoices and other documents as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness in the shipping area and other workspaces by following housekeeping rules and maintaining clean hygiene.
- Follows up on any pending items in a timely manner.
- Assists in maintaining control and record of all products.
- Handles accurate data input into the shared system for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Performs quality assurance checks and verification as needed.
- Follows internal procedures and remains up to date on any changes.
- Performs all other stockroom-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to work at a computer workstation and input data or access information from a computer. The employee is frequently required to stand, bend, and use hands to handle products and shipments. The employee is required to be mobile to, from, and within the facility. The employee will frequently be required to lift items for shipment, often between 10 – 30 pounds and regularly up to 50 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS
· High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
· Prior warehouse, stockroom or mailroom experience required, 3-4 years preferred.
· Prior knowledge of USPS, UPS and FedEx shipping systems.
· Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis; most weight is 10 lbs-30 lbs., receiving and filling orders.
· Basic typing skills of 25wpm, data entry 7k ksph with a high accuracy rate.
· Basic knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Ability to learn new tasks and responsibilities and work independently, with exceptional attention to detail.
· Ability to work cohesively and effectively with co-workers and maintain strong communication.
