Job Description
This role involves installing and repairing accessibility products such as wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts. The ideal candidate will have experience working with power and hand tools and possess strong communication skills for interacting with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair accessibility products in customers' homes
- Interact with customers to explain project details and answer questions
- Participate in on-the-job training programs provided by manufacturers and supervisors
- Work independently in the field using company vehicles
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with mechanical equipment and hand/power tools
- Strong communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction
- Able to lift 75 lbs, work in all weather conditions, climb ladders, and occasionally work in confined spaces or at heights
- High school diploma/GED and ability to pass background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record check
