Senior Analyst, FP&A
Location: Hartford, CT
Reports to: Director, FP&A
Pay Range: $75,000 - 85,000 Annually

Our services include the installation of stairlifts, wheelchair lifts, home elevators, ramps, and bath safety solutions. We’re seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A to join our finance team and drive impactful financial and operational analysis that influences key business decisions across our divisions.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Analyst, FP&A, you will collaborate closely with our Division Vice Presidents (DVPs) and General Managers (GMs) to align division strategies, optimize performance, and identify trends that maximize profitability and efficiency. Your insights will help shape critical financial decisions and improve operational processes across multiple divisions. This role is ideal for a motivated finance professional who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Conduct monthly income statement and balance sheet reviews with DVPs and GMs to analyze performance.
- Lead the preparation of Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), offering insights on results and topics of interest to improve divisional performance.
- Analyze inventory levels, procurement trends, and accounts receivable to identify opportunities for optimization and compliance.
- Provide data-driven insights on technician schedules to enhance efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Continuously evaluate sales consultant performance to ensure alignment with company-wide sales goals.
- Perform detailed financial analysis on product lines, gross margin, labor rates, and SG&A spend to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
2. Billing & Compliance
- Oversee third-party billing processes to ensure accuracy, timely documentation, and compliance across various portals.
3. Forecasting
- Develop and track revenue and profitability forecasts based on sales and production trends.
- Support growth initiatives within existing branches or through acquisitions.
4. Budgeting
- Lead the divisional annual budget process, gathering data on headcount, CAPEX, sales quotas, and more to provide accurate and strategic budgeting insights.
5. Accounting & Month-End Close
- Collaborate with the National Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting during monthly close processes.
6. Training & Development
- Provide training to DVPs, GMs, and Operations Managers on P&L management, financial decision-making, and the use of financial tools and dashboards.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to travel occasionally to branch offices or other company locations.
- Ability to perform tasks that may involve walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
- Regular communication with team members, requiring talking and listening.
