Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)
- Provide routine client case management services, program services, and related work for persons with severe or persistent mental illness (under supervision)
- Oversee cleaning, ordering, and shopping for facility needs
- Oversee organization of center including schedule of groups provided in the center
- Carry out routine case management duties
- Provide supportive contacts with clients
- Carry out portions of client treatment or training plans including skills training activities
- Report to supervisor on client behaviors
- Document clients progress
- Assist with obtaining eligibility documentation, providing client activities, and performing similar functions
- Ability to write short correspondence and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressure
- Maintain standards of confidentiality of Lifeways’ clients and records
- Perform all work duties and activities in compliance with Lifeway’s policies/procedures, Oregon Administrative Rules, OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Two years of experience with individuals with severe or persistent chemical dependency, developmental disabilities, mental illness
- Or equivalent related experience
- Or two years of college
- Or combination of education, work experience, and training
- Consumer experience in Behavioral Health system
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of background check
- Proof of Covid vaccine, or religious or medical exception
Preferred:
- Bilingual/multilingual
